Morocco travels beautifully with children — camel rides, cooking classes, mountain streams, camps under the stars — but the country asks for a rhythm and a level of privacy that only careful planning can protect. Our family programmes are designed around what actually works with kids and teenagers, not around adult itineraries lightly modified.
What we plan differently
Shorter driving days, private accommodation options (a riad buyout, a villa with pool, a family suite in a lodge), and guides chosen for their ease with children and their patience with questions.
We build in unstructured time — an afternoon by the pool, a morning at the riad — so that the trip has room to breathe.
Experiences kids remember
A pastry lesson with a Marrakech pâtissier, a night in a private desert camp with camel treks at sunrise, a mule ride to a Berber village in the Atlas, a boat trip out of Essaouira, a treasure hunt through the Fès medina with a young historian.
For teenagers, we can layer in surfing lessons on the Atlantic, sandboarding in the dunes, and workshops with local artisans.
