Riad Due is deliberately small and visually fearless. Behind a discreet medina door, four suites layer carved cedar, zellige, marble and copper with saturated textiles, sculptural lighting and original works by Moroccan and international artists. The result is not a neutral heritage hotel but an intimate collector’s house, each room with a strong personality of its own. The courtyard plunge pool gives the interior a cool centre, while the rooftop cactuario opens the house to the skyline for breakfast, sunset dining or an arranged massage.
