An exclusive-use art estate where monumental sculptures, private gardens and thoughtful service turn a group stay into a world of its own.
Just outside Marrakech, Dar El Sadaka occupies a former fortified farm transformed by French visual artist Jean-François Fourtou with interior designer Philippe Forrestier. Animal sculptures alter the scale and mood of every space: a giraffe presides over the dining room, orangutans hang above the lounge and a giant sheep watches over the pool. Yet the estate is more than a visual surprise. Nine individually designed en-suite rooms, generous gathering spaces and a discreet resident team make it especially convincing for families or friends who want privacy without giving up the ease of a fully serviced stay. Days can move between the heated pool, tennis, hammam and the surrounding art park; evenings are shaped around the house chef’s seasonal menus and imaginative private dining settings.
